Clinical trials
Clinical trials seek to deliver better treatments and cures of leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma or related disorders. These trials may provide vital information and give people access to new therapies not yet funded by governments.
For patients and families considering taking part in an Australian or international clinical trial, we advise you to make sure you clearly understand the reasons behind the trial and what it involves for you. You also need to understand the benefits and risks of the trials before you can give your informed consent. We recommend speaking to you doctor who can guide you in making the best decision for you.
