The Leukaemia Foundation calls for applications to the following grants, fellowships and scholarships.

Philip Desbrow Senior Research Fellowship
$200,000/annum for five years.
This new and most prestigious award will provide sustained support for an outstanding young Scientist enabling them to establish a significant research program in an Australian research institute. One award will be made in 2010.

Up to $100,000/annum for one year only.
It is anticipated that least five Grants-in-Aid may be offered in 2010.

Postdoctoral Fellowship
$100,000 (75% salary + 25% consumables)/annum.
It is anticipated that one Postdoctoral Fellowship will be offered in 2010. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply for up to two extensions subject to satisfactory annual progress.

PhD Scholarships
$40,000 ($30,000 stipend + $10,000 consumables)/annum for three years.
It is anticipated that least five PhD Scholarships may be offered in 2010.

PhD Scholarships (Clinical)
$55,000 ($45,000 stipend + $10,000 consumables)/annum for three years
Candidates will be expected to have completed, or almost completed, their advanced medical training in haematology. It is anticipated that at least two PhD Scholarships (Clinical) may be offered in 2010.
This scholarship has replaced the Clinical Fellowship previously offered.

New Investigators Grant (WA only)
Up to $10,000/annum for one year only.
Candidates will be based in a West Australian research or medical institution in the early stages of their careers in the field of medicine, science, nursing or allied health.

Dominic Di Giacomo Honours Scholarship (WA only)
$10,000 ($5,000 stipend + $5,000 consumables)
One Honours scholarship will be offered to students undertaking an Honours year research project in 2010 in a West Australian research institution.
